The Menehune Cigar Company is based on the concept of the legendary Hawaiian Menehune folklore. The Menehune are master builders, unique , mystical and proud people and that what are cigars are based on our “Haʻaheo”!

Story
Menehune are legendary, small-statured (approx. 2 ft) people in Hawaiian folklore, renowned as mischievous yet incredibly skilled, magical craftspeople , master builders, who build massive stone structures, fishponds, and temples overnight in forests and valleys. Often associated with pre-Polynesian inhabitation, they are seen as a distinct, shy, and industrious people.
Our Cigars
Our Cigar, “The Culebre” Three cigars in one , represent the three Leaders of the Menehune people: Ha`alulu, Eleu, and Molowa.
The LEGENDARY Cuban Culebra Cigar dates back to the early days of the old cigar rollers. It is said that the old rollers we're only allowed to take one cigar home for the day, apparently one very savvy roller came up with the idea of taking three cigars and intertwining it into a Culebra or serpent in Spanish and thus began the legendary "Culebra" medium.

Our cigars use selected Cuban seed tobacco, grown in Nicaragua.
We carefully select the leaves used in our cigars for a better burn and a better taste. The right tobacco, hand-rolled at the right tightness allows for the best smoking experience.
Hand rolled in the United States . Each roller has decades of experience hand making the finest premium cigars.
Quality tobacco leaves that are cured properly, rolled and wrapped with care makes for a cigar that can be enjoyed by a novice or a expert smoker.
